Vanity Fair "Teen Queens" cover is 10 years-old, but who are today's Rising Teen Queens?

10 years ago Vanity Fair did this spread of the most revelant and supposedly promising teen starts of the moment: Amanda Bynes, Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen, Mandy Moore, Hilary Duff, Alexis Bledel, Evan Rachel Wood, Raven Symoné and Lindsay Lohan and 10 years later it's time to see who made it and who, uhm, didn't.

While some of this then teen stars have come out pretty nicely – Evan Rachel Wood, Mandy Moore and Alexis Bledel are doing more than fine wtith their careers and personal lives, Hilary Duff and Raven have still their solid teen fanbase and the Olsens are doing their own thing, Amanda Bynes and Lilo have gone downhill and i would love for them to disappear for good.

Still, if Vanity Fair was to do another spread today, who would be on it? After the jump i made a list of the teen actresses today that would make the cut, i haven't included any popstars because i don't really care about them but feel free to suggest and agree or disagree about my picks. Teen Queens ahead!

Kiernan Shipka
Age: 13
Seen in: 'Mad Men'.
Why should we look out for her? She's already getting recognised for her role as Sally Draper in 'Mad Men' and will be next seen alongside Dakota Fanning and Elizabeth Olsen in 'Very Good Girls'. Kiernan is here to stay.

Elle Fanning
Age: 15
Seen in: 'Babel', 'Phoebe in Wonderland', 'Somewhere', 'Super 8'.
Why should we look out for her? Elle Fanning has surprised everyone being the most talented Fanning (or at least the one with wiser career choices) and has already established herself as one of the most prominent young actresses today. Next she will be seen in 'The Young Ones' and the fairy tale 'Maleficent'.

Saoirse Ronan
Age: 19
Seen in: 'Atonement', 'The Lovely Bones', 'Hanna', 'The Host'.
Why should we look out for her? She stunned everyone with her acting in 'Atonement' so that should be enough to justify this rising star in the making. Next she will be seen in Wes Anderson's 'The Grand Budapest Hotel', Ryan Gosling's directorial debut 'How to Catch a Monster' and 'Mary Queen of the Scots'.

Chloë Grace Moretz
Age: 16
Seen in: 'Kick-Ass', 'Let the Right One In', 'Hick', 'Dark Shadows'.
Why should we look out for her? Despite having a love-hate thing towards her, it seems that her career is rising as well as the star status she so much adores. Next she will be seen in the unnecessary remake of 'Carrie', 'Kick-Ass 2' and 'Dark Places'.

Alice Englert
Age: 18
Seen in: 'Ginger & Rosa', 'Beautiful Creatures'.
Why should we look out for her? Little did i know that she was Jane Campion's daughter but while she has just started her career, she's already offering mature and solid performances. Next she will be seen in 'Singularity' and 'In Fear'.

Taissa Farmiga
Age: 18
Seen in: 'American Horror Story', 'The Bling Ring'.
Why should we look out for her? Another new starlet in the making, the youngest sister of Vera Farmiga has already shown what's she's worth in the first season of 'American Horror Story' and became a Sofia Coppola girl recently. Next she will be seen in 'Jemesy Boy' and in AHS's third season Coven, which i'm super excited about.

Sophie Turner
Age: 17
Seen in: 'Game of Thrones'.
Why should we look out for her? Young Sansa Stark has already shown her sensibility on the show as well as her fierceness, so we can tell there's a lot coming from this English Rose. Next she will ne seen in GOT's newest season and in Isabel Coixet's 'Panda Eyes'.

AnnaSophia Robb
Age: 19
Seen in: 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', 'Soul Surfer', 'The Carrie Diaries'.
Why should we look out for her? Young Carrie Bradshaw didn't have it easy filling those Manolo shoes but she handed it quite well and created a character her own. Next we will see her in more 'The Carrie Diaries' and in 'The Way, Way Back'.

Other actresses to have into consideration: Quvenzhané Wallis, Bailee Madison, Kaya Haward, Shailene Woodley, Maisie Williams and Amandla Stenberg.

L'Alice Englert i l'Annasophia Robb encara no les he vista a res.
